How To Make A Blaze Spawner

Bonfire Rods and Blaze Powder are essential crafting ingredients in potions and other Minecraft items. But blazes are dangerous and formidable creatures to attempt and slay, so the near efficient way to gather these items is with a Blaze Farm. But how practise you build a Blaze Subcontract?

The bones concept of a blaze farm is to stop blazes from escaping the expanse near their spawning betoken, and utilize lava to guide them into an area where they can be harvested. Blazes cannot exist harmed by lava, but will exist moved past flowing lava, making them ripe to be farmed!

The first step, and perhaps the most dangerous, is to observe a Nether Fortress and a bonfire spawner within it. Y'all'll demand to kill whatsoever surrounding blazes, wither skeletons, and other hostile mobs nearby.

And so light up the expanse around the spawner. You lot'll demand to do this for at least six blocks out in every direction to prevent blazes from spawning. I use glowstone, only lanterns, torches and other light sources would exist fine also.

Next yous'll need to dig seven blocks below the bonfire spawner. Here y'all'll need a space at least 13x13 blocks wide.

Directly below the spawner, you lot'll demand at 2x2 empty infinite surrounded by glass. This is the base of the 'blaze muzzle.' Build out from the now 4x4 glass square, until you've constructed a 10x10 glass base of operations. This is the lesser of your spawner.

Next you lot'll need to fully enclose the rest of the spawner. For the edges y'all tin can use any stone, I've used stone bricks every bit it's what I had a lot of. Fill each side with glass, and you've now finished the shell of the spawner.

Building the Farming Area

Next we'll demand to go down to the bottom of the structure. We'll be constructing the harvesting area at present. Place a breast two blocks below the opening, and one block to the side. Connect four hoppers to the chest past crouching when building them. Place slabs on meridian of the hoppers (items can move through a single slab and into a hopper).

You'll also need to enclose the sides of the hoppers, and place two trap doors at the betoken where you lot desire to farm. This will fully prevent blazes from seeing you and firing at you lot.

Finally, in perhaps the second most unsafe function, you'll demand to enter the glass structure and finish the subcontract. Place vines in the 'hole' area in the middle. This prevents blazes from climbing up and escaping one time they've entered the killing area.

Next place a bucket of lava at each of the corners. If you've done things right, the lava will finish just at the edge of the hole. Shut up the bottom of the glass, and caput up to the summit of the farm.

Now you'll demand to enter the farm one last time, and identify a slab on top of the spawner. This will prevent blazes from staying at the elevation of the trap, or getting stuck on top of the spawner.

Lastly, destroy the low-cal sources and get out of there! Blazes will spawn every bit soon as the light sources are destroyed, and then you'll need to be careful. Savor your blaze farm!
